Wire shelving
This wire-shelving system is an internationally acclaimed design concept. Its ingenious simplicity and aesthetic appeal is supported by its underlying industrial strength to make it an excellent solution for countless applications, which includes but is not limited to cold & freezer room storage, general storage and catering solutions.
This system is not to be confused with the lightweight/light duty imported versions currently available. Our system is proudly manufactured in South Africa, for tough South African conditions.
Although we mainly focus on Gr304 stainless steel wire-shelving which is mostly used in the catering and medical sectors where hygiene and longevity is of critical importance, we can also supply these units in electro-galvanised, bright chromenplated or powder coated finishes and a cost effective, polyurethane coated option for high humidity applications.
The shelves can be supplied with the SHELF profile (lip facing down) or the TRAY profile (lip facing up). This must be specified when ordering the shelving. Shelves are available in 900 mm, 1200 or 1500 mm lengths and can be either 350 mm or 450 mm wide. Custom sizes are available on request.
Tray or shelf options explained.
Standard post lengths vary from 200 – 2200 mm but any post may be trimmed to suit. The post base can be fitted with floor levellers or stem castors. In both cases they are simply knocked in. As with shelves, a selection of finishes and coatings are available. The 25.4mm tubular posts are manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel with a wall thickness of no less than 1.6mm. Each post has grooves along the entire length at 25mm intervals, ensuring complete freedom to determine shelf spacing heights.
These shelves are manufactured per project (not a stock item) and due to the fluctuations in stainless steel pricing we cannot supply a price list. Please send us your requirements and we will gladly quote on your specifications.
Lead time for manufacturing is 26 business days on order. The lead time is determined by the length of the production line at the time of order and cannot be negotiated.
