Undermount kitchen sinks

Undermount kitchen sinks provide a clean surface look. They also allow easy cleaning of the kitchen work surface. If you want to have a drip tray or drain next to the sink bowl it is better to choose from our wide variety of drop-in kitchen sinks. Make sure that the plumber uses the correct silicon to seal the sink to the underside of the counter top.

Karran kitchen sinks are locally made and are exported throughout the world. All sinks are made to order so we require a lead time of at least 2 weeks before delivery to our showroom.

Karran kitchen sinks are available in three colours. White, granite grey and bone. The white colours usually require a lead time of at least 2 weeks for manufacturing, other colours please phone for availability.

* Prices for Karran sinks are for white only, add 20% for grey or light brown. Price includes VAT. Items are made on order, 2 week waiting period.

Please note that the surface of the rim that is used to attach to the underside of the working surface is rough. It has to be like that so that the silicon or glue that the plumbers use, can form a waterproof seal. If it was smooth this would not be possible. All Karran kitchen sink edges look as if it is pitted and ‘un-glazed’, that is part of the product. The rough surface increases the total area to which the glue can attach and seal.

The kitchen sinks do not come with wastes. When ordering, please specify what type of waste you would like. The Karran sinks come pre-drilled with a 52 mm diameter waste hole. If you would prefer the 90 mm type please specify so that we can cut the hole in the factory to fit.

Kitchen sink waste: Optional brass waste with brass plug to add some style. Back nut is also brass to ensure better seal and grip.

The Linea R15 & Radea range have a curved inner edge at the bottom of the sink for easy cleaning. Only sinks with ‘R15’ have this feature. The edge curves with a radius of 15 mm. These sinks are also more hygienic than the very square or angled sinks.

The minimum sink base mentioned is about 5 mm wider that the length of the undermount sink. The reason is that one can use brackets to attach the undermount basin to the top. If you are not using brackets but silicon or epoxy, the width of the sink base can be as wide as the undermount sink.
